Mike has been with the practice for 25 years and has over 45 years experience in the Construction Industry as a Project Manager and Cost Consultant holding senior positions with major Consultancies in the UK and Overseas. Mike has undertaken multifarious commissions for corporate, private and institutional clients including new construction, refurbishment, restoration of Heritage listed buildings and fitting out of premises to suit end user requirements in the commercial, education, healthcare, retail and residential sectors.

TONY HUNTER PARTNER
Tony has been with the practice for 25 years. He has worked successfully on a variety of projects for over 30 years and combines analytical and negotiating skills with an in-depth knowledge of building contracts, administration and economics. Tony has provided expert evidence on quantity surveying matters in numerous arbitration and litigation proceedings, including in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC).

DEREK ADAMS PARTNER
Derek has worked successfully on a variety of projects over the last 25 years and combines analytical and negotiating skills with an in-depth knowledge of building economics. Derek has assessed and chaired panels (APC) for Corporate Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 1996.

RICHARD WARD PARTNER
With 22 years’ experience and Chartered since 2001, Richard has vast public sector experience and, being previously employed by a Local Authority, fantastic insight from a ‘client’s perspective’. Project experience includes Universities, colleges, MoD, local authority, Academies, NHS providers and other commercial/private clients. Richard has experience of various forms of contract and procurement routes while acting as QS, Employers Agent, Project Manager and Programme Manager. His lateral thinking is fundamental to the successful delivery of capital projects.

KEIRAN MURPHY ASSOCIATE SURVEYOR
Keiran has been with the practice for 20 years. He has undertaken the full range of quantity surveying activities. As well as strong professional side experience Keiran has also worked on the contracting side and frequently undertakes roles that involve significant liaison with client in-house teams.

OLIVER BLOWEY PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Oliver is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 25 years experience in the construction industry. Whilst he continues to practise as a quantity surveyor, for the last five years Oliver has focused on dispute work both in the UK and overseas, assisting in the provision of advice to parties and in the compilation of quantum expert reports.
Oliver joined the practice in 2017 as a Principal Consultant and holds the highly respected MSc. in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London. He is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Society of Construction Law

REBECCA GLOYN ASSOCIATE SURVEYOR
Becky is a Chartered Surveyor delivering cost and risk management advice across a diverse range of projects and sectors. Becky graduated in 2015, achieved Chartered Status in 2019 and was appointed an associate of the practice in 2019.
Becky has a hard working ethos based on exceeding Client expectations. Current projects Becky is leading include in the private residential, research and development facilities, museum and heritage sectors.

JULIAN PENNINGTON ASSOCIATE SURVEYOR
Julian has 40 years experience in the construction industry as a professional quantity surveyor and has extensive experience in quantity surveying and project management in the UK and overseas for a variety of private and public sector clients utilising all methods of procurement and a wide variety of contract forms.

Susan Moore SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Susan is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience many of those spent in a senior position within an international practice before joining BHA in 2020. Susan has provided construction cost management services on a wide variety of projects across all sectors including high quality private residential, large scale commercial residential, workplace fit out, retail, healthcare, education and award winning performing arts / cultural / heritage buildings.
Susan has extensive experience in procurement and delivery of projects. She is an effective communicator, develops good working relationships with other team members and is able to deal with multiple stakeholders.
Sue is a hockey team captain and also plays a key role in charity work ‘Hockey for Heroe’s’

AGATA PIETRZYKOWSKA QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Agata is primarily involved in delivering quantity surveying and project management/project support services and has experience across a range of projects in the residential, commercial, education and have previous experience of working for local authorities and health providers. She has site based experience for main contractors and as a qualified Landscape Architect has also significant design experience with public realm and landscaping projects over several years. Agata is also currently working towards completing her APC.

Grace Howard-Kyan ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER/QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Grace graduated from the University of Reading with an honours degree in Construction Management & Surveying. She went to work for an international principal contractor in London, completing a two year graduate scheme and working as a site and package manager. After a few years she moved towards project management consultancy roles and has worked for large mixed schemes, commercial buildings, residential and student accommodation.
She is primarily involved with Education and Health schemes both in a Project Management and Quantity surveying capacity and is also working towards becoming a Chartered Quantity Surveyor through the APC route. -
Charley Hicks QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Since joining the practice in 2019 – having graduated from The University of Reading with a first class degree – Charley has gained experience across a vast array of projects in the Healthcare, Education and Residential sectors.
He is primarily involved in Quantity Surveying services as well as Project Management and Contract Administration support, whilst also currently working towards his APC -
